The Netherlands decided to join other Western nations in halting its support for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) after allegations that the organization may have helped launch an attack against Israel on October 7, Dutch media reported, citing a spokesperson for aid minister Geoffrey van Leeuwen.
Van Leeuwen (pictured) in a statement on Friday emphasized that the Netherlands would carefully assess the results of an ongoing investigation before making any future financial contributions to the agency.
