The Israeli Defense Ministry announced on Thursday the arrival of the latest military aid package from the United States to Tel Aviv amid the escalation of the conflict with Hamas.
The ministry stated that this shipment is part of a larger procurement worth 400 million Israeli shekels, aimed at strengthening the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) fleet of vehicles and replacing those damaged during combat. In addition, future shipments will include armored ambulances, trucks, and mechanical engineering equipment, the ministry added.
On October 10, White House's National Security Council (NSC) Strategic Communications Coordinator John Kirby announced that the first tranche of security assistance was "on its way" to Israel.
