Norway and Denmark agreed to cooperate on donating 8,000 artillery rounds to Ukraine with Oslo contributing the 155 mm artillery shells and Copenhagen giving associated fuzes, the Norwegian Defense Ministry announced on Monday.
"Ukraine has a significant need for artillery ammunition. Norway will contribute where we can. It is important for both Europe's and Norway's security that Ukraine succeeds in standing up to Russia's attack," Norwegian Defense Minister Bjorn Arild Gram stated.
The ministry added that the donation will supplement the Danish donation of 19 Caesar self-propelled howitzers.
