Pelosi's Asia schedule doesn't mention Taiwan

United States House Speaker Nancy Pelosi did not mention Taiwan as a stop on her upcoming Asia trip in an announcement on Sunday.

"I'm leading a Congressional delegation to the Indo-Pacific to reaffirm America's unshakeable commitment to our allies & friends in the region. In Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea & Japan, we’ll hold high-level meetings to discuss how we can further our shared interests & values," Pelosi said in a statement.

Earlier, media reported Pelosi will visit Taiwan as part of her Asian tour, which led China to issue strong warnings against such a move.
