German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said on Tuesday that his government has not yet reached a decision on providing Ukraine with Leopard 2 tanks, adding that "we hope a positive decision is to be expected shortly."
Pistorius confirmed at a press conference with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg that other countries that have German-made tanks can start training Ukrainian tank teams on them. Meanwhile, Stoltenberg warned Russia is "preparing new offensives" in Ukraine.
