Poland raising combat readiness of some units - spox

Polish government spokesman Piotr Mueller revealed on Tuesday that the military is raising the combat readiness levels of some military units.

He confirmed that two Polish nationals were killed in an explosion in Hrubieszow County and that authorities are present at the scene and are investigating the matter. Poland is in constant contact with NATO allies and is considering activating NATO Article 4 on consultation between members in case of a threat, the spokesman added.

Mueller did not comment on who Warsaw thinks is responsible for the incident.
