Prices of cryptocurrencies fall, Bitcoin down by 2%

The prices of cryptocurrencies recorded losses on Wednesday following PayPal Holdings Inc. decision to allow its customers to perform transactions with them.

Meanwhile, Central Bank of Brazil President Roberto Campos Neto spoke about the design of the institution's central bank digital currency (CBDC), the so-called digital real, adding that "banks will be able to issue stablecoins on their deposits and will develop a technology for that."

Bitcoin declined by 2.03% at 4:15 am ET to sell for $30,471.191. A minute later, Ethereum decreased by 0.77% to go for $1,798.1942.

Binance advising govts on crypto reserve plans
