Red Cross secures release of 4 Israeli hostages

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) on Saturday received four Israeli hostages from Hamas and is transferring them to Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) and Israeli Security Agency (ISA) units in the Gaza Strip, the IDF announced.

Earlier, the Israeli military shared that an Israel Air Force (IAF) helicopter was prepared to transport the freed individuals back home, noting that this marked the end of 477 days of captivity for the hostages.

This comes shortly after Houthis released hostages in Yemen.
