The council's statement after a meeting chaired by King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud also praised the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and other countries for their "commitment to unity and market stability."
Back in November, the alliance and its partners (OPEC+) announced their decision to reduce the joint total crude production to 2.2 million barrels per day (bpd) until the end of March 2024.
