Chinese tennis player Peng Shuai (pictured) confirmed she is safe and well in a call with the Internation Olympic Committee on Sunday.
She hasn't made a public appearance since November 2, while the United Kingdom urged Beijing to provide details on her whereabouts.
The former doubles' number one accused China's former vice premier, Zhang Gaoli, of sexual misconduct, after which there was no public seeing of her until the tennis tournament which took place earlier today in Beijing.
