Trump: No exemptions on steel, aluminum tariffs

United States President Donald Trump said that there would be no exemptions on steel and aluminum tariffs and reaffirmed that reciprocal and sectoral tariffs would be imposed on April 2.

Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One that reciprocal tariffs on countries will come alongside auto duties.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Sunday that the US could start talks with different countries to establish new trade deals once tariffs are applied to major trading partners.
