Turkish Foreign Ministry issued a statement on Wednesday condemning Israel's "illegal" military operation in the West Bank amid the reported raids in the Palestinian territory.

Ankara also criticized remarks made by Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz on transferring practices from the Gaza Strip to the West Bank. Earlier today, Katz underlined that Israel's military should issue orders to the cities of Jenin and Tulkarem in the West Bank to stop "Islamic-Iranian terrorist infrastructures" that have been established there.

The Israeli Defense Forces are said to have imposed a curfew in a neighborhood in Jenin, a city located in the northern part of the West Bank, with sources claiming that Palestinians are not being allowed to leave their homes.
