Turkish opposition presidential candidate Kemal Kilicdaroglu (pictured) threatened to cut ties with Russia if it meddles in the country's internal affairs ahead of the elections.
"Dear Russian friends, you are behind the montages, conspiracies, Deep Fake content and recordings that were exposed yesterday in this country. If you want to continue our friendship after May 15, keep your hands off the Turkish state. We still stand for cooperation and friendship," Kilicdaroglu tweeted.
The comments come after another candidate Muharrem Ince withdrew from the presidential race after a sex tape allegedly including him emerged on social media. Ince insisted the video is "fake" and a part of a "conspiracy."
