Energodar's military-civilian administration warned on Tuesday, on its Telegram Channel, that Kiev's military forces are trying to sabotage the International Atomic Energy Agency's (IAEA) mission to visit the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant with "deliberate intention."

The authorities stated that Ukrainian troops, once again, shelled the immediate proximity of the nuclear power plant with large-caliber artillery, leaving two ruptures "near the spent fuel storage building." The officials said that the shelling is still ongoing.

Earlier, IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi confirmed that the agency's mission will be taking place this week, while Russian authorities urged the international community to put pressure on Ukraine and prevent it from further attacking the area.
