A Ukraine-operated Antonov cargo plane crashed near the Greek city of Kavala, the local authorities stated on Saturday.
The Greek Civil Aviation representatives noted that the plane was flying from Serbia to Jordan, adding that they weren't able to confirm the number of people on board or what cargo the aircraft was transporting.
According to the aviation agency report, the pilot managed to inform authorities about an issue in one of the engines, but crashed before he could land at the Kavala airport.
