The United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said on Wednesday it granted Elon Musk's SpaceX license authorization to launch its Starship Super Heavy vehicle for the second time.
"The FAA determined SpaceX met all safety, environmental, policy and financial responsibility requirements," the regulator stated. SpaceX said it is planning to conduct the launch on November 17.
SpaceX first launched the Starship in April but the rocket exploded during the test flight just before the separation stage. The FAA then ordered Musk's company to fix 63 issues on the vehicle and keep the rocket grounded until the repairs are completed.
