The United States Secretary of State Mike Pompeo (pictured) issued a statement of Friday informing about a new rule that will further restrict exports to Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd, referring to the telecommunications giant as an "untrustworthy vendor and a tool of the Chinese Communist Party."
The rule forbids companies from using American made technology and software to design products for the Chinese firm, stopping, what the statement reveals, is a threat to the US national security.
"We will not tolerate efforts by the Chinese Communist Party to undermine the privacy of our citizens or the integrity of next-generation networks worldwide," Pompeo noted.
