Pentagon Press Secretary Patrick Ryder stated on Tuesday during a press conference that Washington is aware of the missiles that landed in Poland and are suspected to be Russian.
Nevertheless, Ryder underlined that he has "no information to corroborate, but we are looking into it." Answering reporters' questions, Ryder said he doesn't "want to speculate when it comes to our security commitments and Article Five. But we've been crystal clear that we will defend every inch of NATO territory."
He, however, stressed that it is important to "get the facts before we start speculating or jumping to conclusions, and then we go from there."
