The decision to allow Ukraine to use Washington-provided weapons to conduct long-range strikes on Russian territory will lead to World War III, Vladimir Dzhabarov, first deputy chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs told Tass on Sunday.
"I think they will not take us by surprise. I believe in this. Nevertheless, this is an unprecedented step. It is a very big step towards the beginning of the Third World War, and the Americans will make it with the hands of an outgoing old man who will no longer be responsible for anything in two months," Dzhabarov warned. Russia's response will be "immediate" he continued, explaining that Moscow would respond by retaliatory strikes on critical Ukrainian infrastructure such as bridges on the Dnieper River.
