Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met on Thursday with Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Valeriy Zaluzhny, it was revealed in a post on the former's Telegram account.
Zelensky thanked the general for leading the Ukrainian army for the past two years and discussed with him what kinds of changes were necessary in the country's military leadership.
The president officially bid farewell to the now ex-commander-in-chief. Zaluzhny shared that there must be a change in the approach and strategy of the Ukrainian forces.
