Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky requested United Nations Security Council to convene a meeting over Russian strikes across Ukraine earlier today, the president revealed on Wednesday.
"Murder of civilians, ruining of civilian infrastructure are acts of terror. Ukraine keeps demanding a resolute response of the international community to these crimes," Zelensky stressed on his Twitter account.
According to Ukrainian authorities, Russian forces launched airstrikes across the country, with rockets damaging infrastructure in Kiev, Lviv, and the southern part of Ukraine, which has likely caused electricity outages in Moldova. Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko informed via his Telegram Channel that three people died as a result of the shelling in the capital city, while eleven others were injured.
