White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki told reporters on Monday that the the classified version of the report on COVID-19 origins is set to be given to President Joe Biden on Tuesday.
Psaki added the unclassified version will be publicly released in a "couple to several days" after the president is briefed. She noted it is still not known if the unclassified version will be the same as the original or it will have some redactions but noted the White House will disclose if there were redactions once the report is released.
In May, Biden gave the US Intelligence Community 90 days to conduct an analysis and compile a report on whether the virus originated from a laboratory or came from human contact with an infected animal.
