UK considering delivering fighter jets to Ukraine

The British government revealed on Wednesday that it is considering delivering new military aid to Ukraine in the form of fighter jets. Downing Street spokesman unveiled that the decision on which planes will be sent is still being discussed, and that Ukrainian pilots will need to be trained first.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the pilot training is scheduled to start this spring. The announcement comes amid an official visit to London by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, during which he will meet officials from the United Kingdom. He is also scheduled to also visit France and meet other European leaders.

France also said last week that delivering jet fighters to Ukraine in the future remains a possibility.
