The Russian Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose to 7.5% year on year in November, according to a report by the country's statistical office Rosstat released on Friday. The figure is up from the inflation rate of 6.7% reported in October.
Food prices increased by 7.2% in November compared to the same month a year prior, while non-food product prices climbed 5.6%. Services prices surged 10.4% on an annual basis.
On a monthly basis, consumer prices were up by 1.1%.
