Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said on Monday that Russia is open to "any dialogue in order to achieve the goal that we have set for ourselves." Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky told the Philadelphia Inquirer on Sunday that Ukraine would consider negotiating with Russia only through intermediaries, similar to the grain corridor talks in 2022.
Peskov said that Russian President Vladimir Putin "maintains openness" in negotiations with Ukraine. However, Zelensky signed a decree in 2022 prohibiting Ukraine from conducting peace talks with Putin.
