Deputy spokesman for UN Secretary-General, Farahan Haq, stated on Monday, during a press briefing, that all parties to the grain agreement reconfirmed their commitment, despite Russia's earlier attack on Odessa.
"We expect that the first ship may move within a few days. The Joint Coordination Centre will be liaising with the shipping industry and publishing detailed procedures for ships in the very near future," the spokesman noted.
Previously, Russian officials underlined that the aforementioned attack would not threaten the grain agreement, while adding that the deal was not meant as a safeguard against Moscow's further military operations in Ukraine.
