Trump signs order to boost critical minerals production

United States President Donald Trump revealed on Thursday that he signed an executive order to "dramatically boost" the production of critical minerals and rare earths. The American head of state added that Washington also looks to sign agreements "in various locations" to unlock rare earths and other resources, including Ukraine and Russia.

He specified that such a deal with Kiev should arrive "very shortly," noting that Ukraine has "tremendous value" in rare earth. Going on to mention the high weekly death toll in the Ukraine conflict, Trump stressed he would like to see it come to an end, referencing the long-awaited ceasefire agreement.
