United States President Joe Biden welcomed the Qatar-mediated agreement reached by Israel and Hamas, which aims to facilitate the release of hostages held in Gaza.

In a statement, Biden expressed gratification that some individuals who endured weeks of captivity will soon be reunited with their families, particularly highlighting the hostages taken by Hamas during the October 7th assault on Israel. "Today’s deal should bring home additional American hostages, and I will not stop until they are all released," Biden stated.
