United States President Joe Biden said on Sunday that his administration is doing "everything we can to bring an end to the war" between Israel and Hamas as well as free all hostages, deliver humanitarian relief, and "work toward a future two-state solution." He stressed that the two-state solution is "the only way to achieve a lasting peace" for Palestinians and Israelis.

Biden added that the ceasefire proposal, endorsed by the United Nations Security Council, is "the best way to end the violence in Gaza and ultimately end the war." The US continues to insist Hamas is the main reason the deal has not been made yet.
