House Committee on Oversight and Accountability Chair James Comer (pictured) announced on Thursday he will issue subpoenas for United States President Joe Biden's son Hunter and brother James's personal and business bank records.
"Today I will subpoena the bank records of Hunter Biden, James Biden, and their affiliated companies," Comer stated at the committee's public hearing. The decision comes as a part of the body's investigation of the Biden family's business dealings and the revenue they made from them.
Earlier this week, Comer told Sunday Night in America that there is a possibility of subpoenaing President Biden's bank information. "[A]ll roads lead to Joe Biden. From day one, this has been an investigation into Joe Biden, not his son. His son is a key, central figure because we believe Hunter was the frontman for the Biden family influence scheme."
