Dassault Systemes and Volkswagen Group unveiled on Monday a long-term collaboration aimed at enhancing the latter's digital framework to refine vehicle development through the integration of Dassault Systemes' 3DEXPERIENCE platform.

According to a joint release, engineers and designers from Volkswagen, Audi, and Porsche will leverage the cloud-based 3DEXPERIENCE platform's virtual twins to optimize the vehicle development process. This approach will allow teams to simulate, evaluate, and perfect each aspect of vehicle creation within a collaborative digital space before initiating physical production.

"Industry evolutions in the context of the Generative Economy are compelling automotive companies to make transformative decisions that will propel the vehicle experience to new heights," Dassault Systemes CEO Pascal Daloz commented.
