EPA-EFE/UKRAINIAN STATE EMERGENCY SERVICE

Donetsk People's Republic's representative office at the Joint Center for Ceasefire Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Thursday that Ukrainian forces shelled the city of Donetsk and Makiivka, an industrial city in the region, using large-caliber artillery.

According to JCCC, the Ukrainian forces launched the strike in four minutes, firing a total of ten shells with a caliber of 155 millimeters munitions.

The Donetsk People's Republic local militia informed that Ukrainian Armed Forces have lost more than forty people and two howitzers, accusing Kiev of "inflicting massive artillery strikes on residential areas and civilian infrastructure, which are not military targets."
