United States Senator from Illinois Dick Durbin (pictured) warned on Friday that President Donald Trump cannot solve the crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic with an executive order despite making "all the claims he wants."
Speaking to MSNBC, the Senate Minority Whip said the deal on relief package should be reached through the White House and Congress working together, not by the president "acting alone."
Earlier this week, Trump predicted a "tremendous" third quarter of the year and an "even better" 2021 as he has signed several executive orders, including ones on the US withdrawal from the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) and reimposing tariffs on aluminum from Canada.
