Former United States Vice President Mike Pence said on Wednesday that he would take testifying in the investigation of the Capitol riot on January 6 2021 into consideration. The former United States President Donald Trump's second-in-command has not yet received a formal invitation from the US House of Representatives committee. Pence has previously stated that Trump believed that the Vice President had the power to overturn the 2020 election results.

"Any invitation that would be directed to me, I would have to reflect on the unique role I was serving in as vice president," Pence added.

Earlier today, former New York Mayor and Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani appeared at an Atlanta court to testify in a criminal investigation over Georgia 2020 election interference by Donald Trump and his aides.
