Israel kills PIJ militants after rocket attack on Hatzerim

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said on Monday that it killed a group of Palestinian Islamic Jihads (PIJ) who it believes were behind the attack on Hatzerim, a kibbutz in southern Israel.

According to the IDF statement, the "terrorists" were eliminated in less than 30 minutes after the reported rocket launch from Gaza.

Over the weekend, local Israeli media reported that at least four long-range rockets were launched from the Gaza Strip toward the southern kibbutz in Israel.
