Greenland's Democrats leader Jens-Frederik Nielsen (pictured) announced on Friday the formation of a coalition government following elections on March 11. The coalition includes three other parties, totaling 23 seats in Greenland's 31-seat parliament.
Nielsen said the parties must "stand together in a broad coalition" as the island faces "pressure" from the Trump administration, which insists on incorporating it into the United States. US Vice President JD Vance will travel to Greenland later today to visit a US military base.
