Wang: There can be no US-China conflict

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Friday that there can be no conflict between China and the United States and that he is "fully confident" about the future of bilateral relations.

However, Wang added that if Washington is not willing to cooperate, "then we have no choice but to play along to the end." He insisted China will defend its "sovereignty, national dignity and legitimate development rights," and "resolutely respond to unilateral bullying practices."
