Israeli army completed its withdrawal from the Netzarim Corridor on Sunday as part of the ceasefire deal, Lebanese Al Mayadeen TV reported citing a Hamas statement.

According to the media outlet, some Palestinians began to return to the northern parts of the Gaza Strip. The exit was initiated by Israeli forces a few days back.

A Hamas official, who spoke to APF about the matter, said that "mediators informed Hamas on Friday evening that Israeli forces would begin withdrawing from Salaheddin road on Sunday morning, dismantling the military checkpoint and surrounding positions." The official added that now, vehicles can "pass freely in both directions."
