Heathrow Airport is "fully operational" again on Saturday after a fire at an off-site power substation forced a complete closure and grounded more than 1,300 flights on Friday.
A spokesperson said the airport had resumed regular service but warned of continued delays as operations stabilize. "Teams across the airport continue to do everything they can to support passengers impacted by yesterday's outage," the spokesperson added.
British Airways previously said it expected to run around 85% of its scheduled flights while restrictions on overnight operations were temporarily lifted.
