Hezbollah Deputy Secretary-General Naim Qassem (pictured) said on Sunday, during a funeral for a top commander killed in an Israeli strike on Beirut on Friday, that the organization has entered "a new phase" of its fighting with Israel.
Qassem stressed that the conflict with Israel is now an “open-ended battle of reckoning."
Previously, a Hezbollah legislator said that the group is ready for "any scenario," including a war with Israel, after the killing of senior commanders in Beirut and dozens of operatives in communication devices explosions across Lebanon, widely attributed to Israel.
