Japanese car manufacturer Honda Motor Company Ltd revealed on Tuesday that it is recalling 1.1 million sold vehicles in the United States due to the risk of airbags on the driver’s side possibly malfunctioning.

The vehicles were previously repaired with the new Takata replacement inflators. Honda stated that the one injury reported in a Honda Odyssey crash is the reason for this recall.

Honda stopped trading 1.08% in the red on Tuesday. Earlier, Honda said Takata airbags caused a number of deaths and injuries in its vehicles.
