Yemen-based Houthis spokesperson Yahya Saree said on Monday that the rebel group targeted United States aircraft carrier Harry Truman in the Red Sea with missiles and drones "while the American enemy was preparing to launch a major air attack against our country."
Furthermore, Saree claimed that Houthis launched several strikes targeting Israeli military sites in Tel Aviv and Ashkelon, ensuring that these operations "have successfully achieved their objectives."
Israeli officials previously warned that Houthi leaders will become legitimate targets as the rebel group intensified attacks on Israel in recent weeks.
