Iranian Foreign Minister spokesperson Bahram Ghasemi branded Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu a "broke and infamous liar who has had nothing to offer except lies and deceits" on Tuesday, stating that the accusations towards Tehran over its nuclear weapons development are "worn-out, useless and shameful," local media reported.

"Netanyahu and the notorious, child-killing Zionist regime must have reached the basic understanding that the people of the world have enough awareness and cognisance," stressed Ghasemi.

On Monday, Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif also slammed Israel and the United States on Monday over their allegedly cooperated efforts to undermine the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). The comments come after Netanyahu claimed Iran "lied" about not developing nuclear weapons as he demonstrated alleged evidence of the country's "secret" nuclear development.
