Iran seizes two tankers over alleged fuel smuggling

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) seized two Panama-flagged ships over alleged fuel smuggling, the Fars News Agency reported on Thursday, citing an IRGC official.

The IRGC noted the tankers, which were carrying 1.5 million liters of fuel and had a total of 37 crew members, were seized during a two-day operation in the northern waters of the Persian Gulf.
