The Israeli military found a Hezbollah bunker under the Sahel Hospital in the Lebanese capital of Beirut, where the militant group stored more than $500 million in cash and gold, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Spokesperson Daniel Hagari (pictured) claimed on Monday.
"That money could have been used to rehabilitate Lebanon, but it went to rehabilitate Hezbollah," Hagari said at a press conference. "The [Israeli] Air Force aircraft are watching the site and will continue to track it," he added.
However, the spokesman ensured that the IDF would not strike the hospital although the medical center's director, Fadi Alameh said that the hospital is being evacuated and denied Israel's claims regarding the Hezbollah bunker.
