Israel launches series of airstrikes on southern Beirut

The Israeli Air Force (IAF) launched a series of airstrikes on targets in the southern suburbs of Beirut, according to Lebanon's National News Agency (NNA).

Israeli warplanes attacked the vicinity of Al-Qaim mosque, Burj Al-Barajneh, and a compound in the Haret Hreik district. Airstrikes also targeted Al-Ruwais and Al-Abyad neighborhoods.

Earlier, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesman to the Arab press Avichai Adraee called via his profile on X (formerly Twitter) on the residents of Beirut's southern suburbs located near "Hezbollah facilities and interests" to immediately evacuate the area and maintain a distance of at least 500 meters.
