The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced on Monday that on Tuesday, it will hold a military exercise in Western Galilee and near the country's border with Lebanon.
The army tweeted that the drills will last several hours and include aircraft but insisted that "there is no fear of a security incident."
The news came amid the renewed exchange of fire between Israel and Hezbollah, which the former slammed as a "blatant violation" of their ceasefire. Israel's troops remain stationed at several locations in Lebanon despite previously agreeing to withdraw.
