The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced in a post on social media platform X on Friday that their soldiers identified "a suspicious aerial target that crossed from Lebanon."
According to the post, that target was successfully intercepted. This was the first time the air raid sirens were activated in the north of Israel since the truce ended.
Earlier, Hezbollah lawmaker Hassan Fadlallah said during a press conference that developments in Gaza after the expiration of the ceasefire could still affect Lebanon, adding that "no one thinks that Lebanon has been spared from Zionist targeting."
