United States Vice President JD Vance met with service members during his tour of a US military base in Greenland.
"The mission is really important, the Trump administration is really interested in Arctic security. It's a big issue and it's only going to get bigger over the next decade," Vance remarked while expressing gratitude to the staff of the Pituffik Space Base in northwest Greenland for their "sacrifice."
Earlier, CNN indicated that the vice president plans to heavily criticize the Arctic territory's officials. He travels with his spouse Usha, national security advisor Mike Waltz, and Energy Secretary Chris Wright.
