Former European Parliament Vice President Eva Kaili (pictured) will remain in pre-trial detention for another month, a court in Belgium ruled on Thursday.

Kaili was arrested earlier this month over accusations of participation in a criminal organization, corruption and money laundering alongside three other suspects.

Investigators are looking into allegations that Qatar and Morocco bribed the four individuals in order to influence the European Parliament's decisions.
